Volunteers needed!

Want to be a part of bringing summer celebration glory back to Oglesby?

The city is looking for volunteers to help with this year's Summer Fun Fest, June 27th-30th. Please contact Oglesby city hall (815-883-3389) for more information.

Summer Fun Fest offerings include an impressive lineup of tribute bands, a car show, farmers market, citywide garage sales, the Oglesby Library’s used book sale, the popular “Kids’ Party in the Park” and the Midwest’s largest carnival—complete with rides, a midway lined with games and food booths, and a beer garden.

Though helping hands are need everywhere, a good portion of volunteers will be manning beverage sales, checking IDs and selling tickets. The Kids’ Party in the Park—a big success in previous years with free activities for youngsters—will also be a focus for staffing volunteers.

Group or individual volunteers are welcome.

Come, help Oglesby bring family-friendly fun to the Illinois Valley!
